They cover so many real-life topics! The ones about strangers and nightmares actually helped me, I think. And the one about junk food. And the Christmas one. </p> <p>But, as an adult I sort of agree with mamamoose - they portray the father as being borderline intellectually disabled. I've never liked movies/books where the parents and stupid and the kids are smart. But on the other hand - I think it's almost good for kids to be exposed to the idea that just because someone is an adult it doesn't mean, in any way, that they have their ish together. I know too many Papa Bears.
