Everyone says that if your mom has it then you will too. My mom has stretch marks so I was worried. By 2 years later they were all white. I remember having one or two purple stretch marks with my daughter, and they did go away (I don't remember when, but I don't have them now). But, what was horrible was having my son. After two babies, I feel like I don't have a stomach, it is a stretch mark party that all the stretch marks that ever lived and will ever live, have been invited to and attended. HA! Extended metaphor aside, I remember it took awhile with my daughter, maybe more like 8 months or so. But I can't remember.
