We tried for a hurricane sandy baby, but that was our first cycle and it wasn't successful since my clomid dose was too low. I guess in a way it's a good thing since at least hopefully this means the hospital won't be as crowded, although now we run the chance of actually delivering during a hurricane yikes!

My LO was a Hurricane Irene baby! We were supposed to go on a vacation with some friends in Vermont and it ended up being cancelled for Irene. So my DH and I were stuck in Boston for what ended up being just a rainstorm.

Two people + rainy day = baby? womp.womp

LO wasn't a storm baby but, and this is only somewhat related, she was conceived on our college football team's bye week. We don't really get huge storms where we're from though so I can't say if it'd work for our friends and family (plus a lot of people we know just actively try).

You always hear about baby booms after big storms that strand people inside for days at a time. Are you having a storm baby, or did you have one?

LO will be born about 39 weeks after Hurricane Sandy narrowly missed Boston (though we were trying and charting, so a little less related to Sandy than others, probably).

I also know 2 babies born during Hurricane Irene, and 1 born 9 months after Irene who had lots of company in the hospital.

I wonder how many babies will be born 38 weeks from now in the Northeast!
