So what do I do? I secure my bedroom, turn on the TV for my daughter, and I "nap" for about half an hour. She wakes me up about every 5 minutes by hitting me but I still manage to fall right back asleep. I am a very good napper and manage to feel refreshed even from that. (Before Charlie) is the long and glorious weekend naps that I used to take.</p> <p>My usual MO was to sleep very little during the week, but then to "catch up" on the weekends. I know that sleep isn't supposed to work that way, but I loved it.</p> <p>So now when, say, Mrs. Bee's mom is visiting and available to watch Charlie on a weekend, then I will try and get a glorious nap in at least one of the days. Then I can stay up a little later at nights during the week, which has a huge impact on my happiness.</p> <p>Did you (or do you) ever take naps on weekends? </p>
