I played softball for awhile too but was sooooooooooo terrible. In HS I switched to running and then went to college and ran cc and track. I started out in dance for a year and then that got too expensive. My parents signed me up for t-ball, then softball at the local rec center. I went back to dance for a year and then moved onto soccer. My mom had $1k/month for alimony and child support, so that didn't get us very far in Orange County (mortgage, food, etc.). I didn't do any sports at all, but now that I think about it, I know my dad would have paid if I had asked him to.</p> <p>Instead, I joined the marching band in high school. And the choir. And student council. SUPER nerd here. I only lettered in band and I have a letterman jacket with just band/choir/drumline stuff on it! I sucked at both. In Middle school, we got the options of field hockey and lacrosse added. I played those through middle and high school. In college, I played field hockey on a D2 team and when I left that college, I decided I was done with collegiate sports. I joined a club rugby team at my second college and adored it!
