I was always worried about this and yup, I pooped. Multiple times during my 2 hours if pushing. The worst part was I could smell it. The nurses cleaned it up right away but DH knew what was going on. Everyone said you wouldn't care at the time but I did. I definitely didn't in my eight and a half hour labour, but I only pushed for about twenty minutes. Mind you, I also laboured at home (including on the loo!) for about six of those hours, so might be different in a hospital setting where you are confined to your back.
