I could get so much work done while he was napping, because he napped 2-3 hours both naps, sometimes more. I was thankful he switched to 1 nap(still 2-4 hours) when I was closer to not working anymore.</p> <p>now I don't mind the 1 nap, because even at 21 months, it's still 2-4 hours long. I don't like going after his nap now because after lunch is eaten and were out the door it's late afternoon and I run into rush hour on the way home and dinner is always delayed. I'm a stay at home mom and we don't leave the house much due to our normal lifestyle. When I had 2 naps I knew if I didn't finish stuff during the first one I could make it up during the second. Now that we only have one it's all or nothing! He would be waking up from his morning nap when most kids would be going down for their morning nap! Then we still had time to do something before his monster afternoon nap.</p> <p>I was soooo tired for a while and vastly preferred the 2 nap schedule since he was still an early riser. But eventually (months) he started waking up later on the one nap schedule and it did give us a lot more flexibility to do stuff.</p> <p>With Olive I couldn't wait until she dropped her second nap and was on the same schedule as Charlie. It was truly glorious for the year that they were on the same schedule until Charlie stopped napping.</p> <p>Did you prefer the 2 nap schedule or 1? </p>
