I don't remember. It didn't look that hard! In one of my childbirth books they say it's totally natural to reach for the baby as it's coming out. When he slid out and they showed him to us, I had a total deer in headlights face. I was also worried at the time because they were about to call in a bunch more doctors in case he didn't pop out right after the last push. Like it felt real, but also kind of like an out of body/dreamlike experience for me. I wouldn't have trusted myself, I guess? Without knowing what to expect and feeling sort of dazed (They had to wake me up to push bc they could see her head, and I was still a little sleepy).
