I think I was that obnoxious girl who actually read all the material and raised my hand constantly. I'm one of those people that can't teach myself from a book. If I didnt understand something I would always raise my hand and ask the prof to clarify. It worked well for me because I had a 3.8 and pretty much never studied for a test...
