I read through what to expect before your expecting and that was the last thing I read. I really don't think I can learn how to parent my child from a manual! If I see a method in a book and it doesn't work on my child, it makes me feel that much more frustrated. I do however rely on HB a lot!

I skimmed through the book the OB gave me, and flipped through What to Expect, but never fully read either. I hawked HB like crazy though and took in all the advice you ladies give!

I had a week by week pregnancy book, though I didn't get as far as reading about labour because it scared me! I have a new parents book too which I've skimmed through and referenced from time to time. Mostly I rely on HB or google for a relevant site, such as kellymom or troublesome tots.

I devour baby books! I bought What to Expect when you're Expecting, The Dads Guide to Pregnancy for Dummies and the Mongan Method books for pregnancy/birth info. Then for parenting I bought the Super Nanny book, The Secrets of the Baby Whisperer and the Wonder Weeks book. Im about to invest in a couple of sleep books.

I read some pregnancy books, but have yet to read any parenting ones. Someone gifted me The Honest Toddler, but I read about 3 pages of it.

With my first I read What to Expect and printed out a bunch of documents online prepared in a binder for reference. After LO was born I read a breastfeeding book, which helped a lot. This was all before hellobee of course. ;)

With my second I don't have time to read over any material. I figure I've done this once before. There's not much that can prepare me for taking care of two but the actual experience.

I started What to Expect, and thought it was awful and negative. Stopped and swore not to read another. I did read Jenny McCarthy's book (hillarous) and my Week by Week of where the baby was. that was good enough for me, and no parenting books, I think I know what's best for my girl <3

I really enjoyed Bringing Up Bebe. I read it before I was even TTC. During pregnancy I've read Ina Mays Guide to Childbirth which I found incredibly informative and now I'm finishing up her guide to Breastfeeding. I love to read an fill my head with as much knowledge as possible.

I skimmed through some. Now I am starting to read more parenting books, but they're typically Christianity based. I want them to address my heart issues as well as helping me think about how to address LO's.

I picked up a couple that I bought and was gifted. But, never read through them all fully.

I mostly used Dr.Google, Hellobee, and friends to tackle parenting!
