To this day I'm not even sure what the consent form was for. What did I sign? I remember becoming enraged when they asked us all those questions again at check-in. Luckily I brought a copy of the packet and handed it to the clerk. I think a lot of hospitals (correct me if I'm wrong!) have similar patient rights and rules but it's a little scary to think of what I might have signed off on without knowing it. I don't even remember really looking at them - I also kept signing things for "Infant Lastname," which was causing me sheer panic. But I was in transition already and in so much pain that dh took the papers and stuff and we rushed through it as quick as possible to get me the epi..</p> <p>What about you? </p>
