I read reviews everywhere, not just one site. I do like reading up on things on consumer reports for reference. The best thing you can do is get a good idea of what you think would be good and then find a store to try things out in. We drove 45 miles to try out things at a buy buy baby. I know how you feel though! It's such a big purchase that you want to make sure you get the right one for you! Then I thought about what the reviews said. So many of the negative amazon ones can be discarded because the reviewer either didn't understand the stated purpose of the product and thought it would do more or had some other minor issue that caused them to rate it really poorly because they were upset.</p> <p>I disagreed with even Consumer Reports on some things... so it really involved having a critical eye to what was being said and how the research was conducted. </p> <p>Ultimately the best help in making the decision was for me to go see/touch/feel the product if possible. However so many of the reviews I read for either of them on amazon have some negative quality issue reviews.
