It was so NOT a big deal to get a one day liquor license...and I don't remember it costing very much at all. Since you have to go through the trouble of a license though I would say forget it. Most of the attendees will be adults. All of the first birthday parties and little kid parties where the guests are primarily family or friends of the parents alcohol is served.</p> <p>ETA: I wouldn't get a license just to serve alcohol. A couple hours with lemonade is not going to hurt anyone. </p>
