My parents never set a curfew for me or really told me I couldn't do something. Of course I was expected to be responsible and I couldn't stay out late on a school night but I was such a nerd in high school that I didn't want to be out late. They would also voice their opinion if they didn't like the idea of something but ultimately left the decision up to me (since I wasn't asking to do stupid stuff). I got as far as climbing out my window and walking to the nearby police station, which was our allotted meet-up spot (great choice, huh? haha). Apparently I went to the wrong station (there's another one just a little further) and didn't see my friend. I thought it was so stupid to sneak out, so I just went back home. I was gone maybe 20 minutes, but it was long enough for my parents to hear me leave and start driving around looking for me. My brother was the only one home when I got back, and he told me I was in biggg trouble.
