It kind of seems like that would make it even more of a reality shock when the new baby comes. I had special time with him and we did fun things, but nothing crazy over the top and not all the time. Plus, like you said, the more demanding thing was a concern too. I tried to make it just business as usual with occasional fun family time. Of course I don't want to have a more demanding than necessary three year old on my hands when our newborn arrives. I have been savoring the cuddles and the cute things she does and her being the only though! (Even though I am so so excited and "ready" for ds to arrive in a month or so!) </p>
