He was born and raised in the faith. I was baptized around middle school and began attending church after that. I don't think I was ever required to go (some in the family/household did, some didn't), so I went because I wanted to. We now go every week and were married in the Church.</p> <p>I also don't like when people are too pushy. That milk comment was SO rude! It also isn't necessarily true- even if you *did* pray every day, there are people who do and who still don't make enough milk. It was the best decision I've ever made and have had so much clarity every since. I had gone a few times as a kid but we didn't have opportunities to discuss our faith outside of 'attending' church. I've read full texts and went to various denomination services while searching in college, and it was not a blind choice. It happens to people differently though. I compare my experience to being in a SLOW cOoker. It took me awhile and many different ingredients influenced where I am today but all that time marinating, made my faith in Jesus, rich and tasty. Asking questions and going along with someone to church to explore is the BEST! I went to a Christian university as well! My DH, on the other hand, didn't go to church until we started dating (he was 26). My mom converted/became a Christian a few years ago and can be a bit pushy about it so we try to avoid the topic.<br /> I'm happy she is happy but I don't like how everything bad is because I'm not religious. According to her, my milk came in late because I did not pray, etc. </p> <p>I never asked her (I prob should) why or how she decided to convert. Did you start going to church as an adult?
