It's become a habit and another thing we do every night. Looking back I wonder why I did it so long. So, I didn't want to put the baby's stuff in there. I really use my sterilizer more as a holding tank for the stuff that's been washed. I don't like it hanging around in my dish drainer, so I pop it in the sterilizer. We put the bottles and nipples in the dishwasher every night. Once a week I also boiled the nipples. Most lactation consultants will tell you that you don't need to sterilize and a run through the dishwasher is fine.</p> <p>I wasn't going to sterilize at all with Olive, but since she was born early, I've been sterilizing her bottles.</p> <p>Did you sterilize your bottles?
