But then when we took a little step back, I did drink during that time, and got pregnant! I don't really feel bad about drinking though. I am not a heavy drinker, so its not like there was a ton of alcohol in me during the 2 wks I was pregnant and didn't know. After a few more months of that and nothing happening, I relaxed entirely and would still have half a glass of wine with dinner or the occasional half a beer. All heavy drinking ended when we decided that we were ready to TTC. I specifically asked her about the TWW, and she repeated the same info, and stressed that in her medical opinion, it’s completely fine to drink during the TWW. At least four she was incredibly beyond drunk, and may have done drugs. Her son was born with a medical issue that will never allow him to have children. Are the two connected? Nobody will ever know, and nobody would ever suggest something like that to her, but I wonder once in a while.<br /> I don't drink often, maybe a total of 3-5 glasses of wine a month, but when it hits the TWW I won't drink anything. I didn't really like fielding questions from friends about why I wasn't drinking. I also think we'll have better luck conceiving if I am less stressed/constantly thinking about TTC! </p>
