As other have said, it's completely normal! Doesn't mean your supply is lowering.

Yup totally normal. I'd say that was about the time I started feeling less engorged too. LO is now 8 months. My breasts feel lighter and softer most of the time. I only get engorged if he misses a feeding. Mine also only feeds on one side at a time too!

@Dandelion: thanks for the link! I was really worried it was a supply issue because we'd just gotten back from vacation, I got sick, and I'm stressed about going back to work. Sounds like it's nothing to be concerned about!

it's normal around 3-4 months for you to be less engorged. Your breasts are no longer just producing all the time and they wait for your baby's (or the pump's) cues. Here's a kelly mom link for you to read about it: http://kellymom.com/bf/got-milk/supply-worries/breast-fullness/

Up until a week or so ago, I felt pretty full/borderline engorged by the next feeding. LO still seems satisfied by what he's getting and is still only feeding on one side at a feeding. His diapers and weight gain are great... I just don't ever feel really full. LO is 13 weeks.

What was your experience like?
