I'm really glad we did. I was thinking about calling to get a hospital tour since we moved in between pregnancies but I have been slacking on that. I'm 36 weeks now. The reason i want to take the class again is because i don't feel i remember everything or would really know what to do anymore. Baby is unlikely to choke before the introduction of solids and before they have coordination to put something in their mouths. They thought 6 months, when baby starts eating and becomes mobile, was better since parents are unlikely to remember what they learned before the newborn haze. DH refused to go and it was a point of tension. And then when I was in labor LO was almost born in the car because we were parked in the wrong spot. Grr.</p> <p>We were told to take CPR when LO was 6 months. This isn't our first rodeo (3rd baby). However, our hospital (very large hospital campus) we deliver at just opened a new Mothers Hospital (opening January) which is supposed to be amazing! However, I'm kind (jokingly) of tempted to sign up for the birthing class again so DH can get refreshed on all the massaging techniques that are helpful/useful during labor.
