I didn't feel challenged in high school at all but no one ever encouraged me to take any harder classes. Since I was so busy with all of my extra-curriculars, I didn't feel the desire to add more to my plate. I wasn't allowed to take any my junior year because I we moved that summer and I wasn't enrolled early enough to get all the summer pre-reqs done in time. I took physics, chem, and calculus. No exams for me though. I took them all again in college and loved them all. I attempted US history. But her method of teaching was writing down word for word the text book. No thanks! I ended up dropping it for an easy A instead of the extremely hard to achieve B. Really glad I did it. I rememeber sitting in class in university wondering how the other students were ever going to understand the material. Most of those were during junior year. The way my high school set up classes, you couldn't take AP english without an AP math and you couldn't do AP history without an AP science. I considered myself smart but maybe I wasn't that smart. Whatever... I graduated from college with a BS in Biology and I'm getting my masters in Pharmacology. No AP classes needed here. :)
