I brought them goodies about a month after he was born since my pediatrician is right next to them. We had a scheduled c section so it was easy to plan (including printing out a map to the bagel shop - they are too old for google maps, LOL!). </p> <p>I worked in L&amp;D and LOVED it when patients would get us treats. It was usually something like bagels or donuts, sometimes pizza. As you said, often there is no time to eat anything so it is a much appreciated gift, not just for L&amp;D but any time. All of our nurses were wonderful (okay, one exception) but no one thanked us for the bagels! They were all excited and a lot of the time they were so busy and being able to grab a granola bar was their lunch for the day.
