Whenever anyone asked about names we would say we were thinking about "insert name of person who's asking here" (so if my stepmom Connie asked, I'd say "well, we're thinking Connie if it's a girl and Jon (my dad) if it's a boy". Nobody has said anything negative, but it's a pretty benign name. The most kerfuffle it got was that I work with a guy with the same name so we all had a big laugh about that this morning. My biggest concern was I didn't want to get a bunch of monogrammed stuff for the baby. But DH already told his whole family the name and I think that's the demographic most likely to go the monogrammed route.
