Now I realize how young they were since we're 29 and 33 with our first. </p> <p>Other people keep asking me if my mom's going to baby sit while I work, and I'm always like... well, she's only 50, so she still has her own job, and people are surprised. DH's parents are in their mid 60's and they seem so much older than mine. People in my family tend to have children later (even my grandparents) so while I didn't think they were necessarily old, they were just older in comparison to my friends parents.
