I started throwing up and then my water broke while I was puking and then I threw up more in the hospital parking lot and in triage. That was fun. My first was an easy labor, straight from a movie or something. Gushing water break, DH hailing a cab, me having a cute dress and make up with no contractions as I went into the hospital, a great epi and 3 pushes. My second was fast and furious with nothing cute about it. I vomitted multiple times at home, in triage and in L&D. I also vomitted out the car windows at 70 mph, so we showed up in the valet with puke all along the passenger side. Whoops. I was in labor with LO1 for 50+ hours and I ate several meals during labor - including lamb chops on my hands and knees. My doula was certain I would vomit but nothing. The nurse moved so quickly - I almost puked right on dh's head. Not during labor for dd2. I dry heaved a few times before labor even started because I got the biggest back spasm of my life while adjusting myself in the hospital bed.
