We were really lucky. My mom traveled for work, so we mostly flew for free on her frequent flier miles. We were all over the place - Hawaii, Caribbean, Florida, UK, Canada, drove cross-country. I am really lucky for the experiences we had. My dad was military, so we were stationed in AZ, ND, MO, and England. My grandparents on his side lived in MN and were from WI. I had a favorite aunt in NE. So I covered the midwest pretty early. We drove to Disney World through GA when I was approximately 12. Drove with my grandparents out to Yellowstone from ND when I was 10 - went through South Dakota, saw the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, etc. Went with those grandparents out to Kentucky Horse Park, DC, Philadelphia, and Gettysburg when I was 14 or so. Went to Chicago at 13 or so, San Diego at 15, Las Vegas at 16 (first college spring break SOUNDED cool to others...) Went to England for a friend's wedding at 17 (dedicated MOH am I), and my mom and I toured London then. Went to Canada twice while in ND. Even if we went and just hung out at the pool, we were happy! My parents took us all around the US and to a few countries outside the US before we were 18. It feel so lucky to have been able to experience so many places at such a young age.</p> <p>Did you travel a lot when you were a kid? </p>
