I work in education and I have busy periods in August, September, December, and January. I wanted to have a Spring baby (March/April) as those months coincide with a lull in my schedule. Based on certain statistics mostly talked about in the book Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, the most successful people are born in January, February, March, and April. The theory is that kids born these months are older than their peers in school, especially in sports due to the way they are grouped by age, and because of that, they are naturally a bit faster, stronger, and taller than those they're grouped with that were born in the Fall. I'm a January baby, DD1 is April, LO2 will arrive sometime late Jan/ Early Feb.
