She tolerated the flu shot and MMR well! We stayed at the pediatrician's office for another 45 minutes after she got the shots in case she had a reaction. We had problems with that as well initially. She had a huge local reaction, but otherwise tolerated. S recently had an allergic reaction to a scrambled egg that I gave to him, so I'm not sure how that will affect if he receives the flu shot for this season. For my daughter, we delayed MMR because she has a pretty bad egg white allergy and we wanted to get back her allergy test results before moving forward. I don't want one of those beautiful kids to be mine. Like a 10 year old girl, standout student and soccer player who can no longer feed herself and functions at a toddler level.</p> <p>So we do the flu shot every year without fail.
