If it was a time I knew she'd normally eat anyway it was easier to just go do it than wait her out, since I wasn't sleeping then anyway. If it was too early or shortly after she ate I waited longer. If he'd already eaten, I might let him fuss it out a bit. It's also harder to feed a distressed baby!</p> <p>I no longer keep an eye on the time, but at 7.5 months, DS still feeds throughout the night. He's right beside me though so it's no trouble. I will often scoop him up for his middle of the night feed before he fully wakes up. Last night I tried to see if maybe I just let him be, perhaps he would just sleep until morning. I just couldn't do it. I waited 30 minutes and he was so loud. I just wanted him to be satisfied and move on with our night. Lol. </p> <p>So did you always wait for baby to wake up? At what age did baby give up that 3-5 AM feeding? </p>
