She still calls for us every time. Either or, I think he'll be fine. He has a nightlight in his room and can easily find his way to us. I am also not a fan of locking the door, but I'd consider a gate in the doorway, as opposed to the top of the stairs. Would that be an option? While we shut her door, I prefer she has the option of coming out if she wants to. That being said, we have stairs and we took down the baby gates. We're going to convert her crib soon and I'm worried about her waking up while we're sleeping and going down the stairs. </p> <p>Anyone else worry about this? What did you do (other than put up another baby gate which isn't happening...)? </p>
