We picked out names when I was pregnant the first time, but I miscarried before we found out the gender. Since we were never able to name that baby, I felt ok using the names for our lo. If it was a boy it would be Jack Isaac after hubby's grandpa and my greatgrandpa, and our girls name was Rose Helen, for our greatgrandmas. Yes, I know they're Titanic names.

It was a girl, so if we have a boy next we'll use Jack. We haven't agreed on a girls name. I'll worry about it when I get pregnant, not before.

@jbhops I say you name your baby boy Jack! That's too cute. :) My husband was dead set against giving our daughter a middle name, but after seeing me go through labor, he was literally putty in my hands. He let me have whatever I wanted the first 24 hours after my baby was born.

I have more girls' names than boys names for this baby... Poor child, if it's a boy, my best name has already been used on Big Brother.

I have a really strong feeling it's another boy, but last time it was a strong feeling I was having a girl. Wrong! So we'll see in about 11 weeks if my strong feeling is correct.

We've had a boys name picked out since we were dating but since becoming pregnant we've had the hardest time deciding on a girls name. I have a feeling if we have a girl we'll end up naming her in the hospital.

I've had the girl name "Audrey" picked out for years and years (and I'm not even TTC yet). I know many people don't often share their potential baby names to people because they don't want people to be commenting on the names. However, I have been telling my friends for a while because I don't want anyone else to "steal" it, HAHA. :)

We are stumped on boys names though... we came across the name "Grayson" yesterday (there was a chef on Top Chef named Grayson, albeit a female chef), and we kind of liked the sound of it!

We wont find out the gender for another 3 weeks, but we already have one girl name in mind, but I'm a little blank about boy names. I guess we still have plenty of time to decide.

Don't think I'm nuts, but we have five full girls names and five full boys names picked out, and have since before we were even married. I know it sounds insane, but that's kind of how we approach everything in life - research and planning - way before it's needed. On the bright side, it's one less thing to argue about when we're pregnant! We'll wait till we see our LO before we decide which of the five names for their gender fits them the best.

For the past few years, every time I've heard a name that I liked I've saved it to a file on my computer. I have quite the list now, but Hubs isn't quite on board with all...erm, most of them.

For a long time Oliver/Olivia and Eleanor were my top picks, but now that they're becoming more popular I'm not so sure anymore. In my office alone we have two baby Olivers, and an Eleanor!

Right now I'm really liking the name Adelynne but I'm not so sure on my top boy's name : )

We're not even TTCing yet, but we've talked names. I think we have a boys name figured out 100%, but the girl's name is in flux. I had one picked out that we had both agreed on, but it's actually the same name as one of my husband's cousins, so I'm now thinking I don't want to use it. I think I have a new name picked out, but haven't figured out a middle name to go with it! The boy's middle name was easy because my husband's family has a tradition of giving the same middle name to all the first sons, so we'll use that too for our first son.

We started looking at names as soon as we found out I was pregnant. We are both picky, and have conflicting taste when it comes to naming style, so I knew it'd be a challenge. We've got one for a girl, and one for a boy, so far that we both agree on. We're still looking though. I'm terrified we will see our baby and only have one name picked out, and it won't "fit"!

The husbone & I also started talking about baby names when we were still dating @enjollah :)
we aren't finding out the gender, so if it's a boy, it will be josue {joshua} henry - my husband loves the name josue & henry was my grandfather who died last year
and if it's a girl it will be lola kay {my great-grandmother & both of our moms' middle names is/are kay <-- not sure of proper sentence structure here}
after these names are gone, though, we got nothin for the future kiddos.

We're TTC and our name list changes pretty frequently. Anything that ends with an -n is out because our last name ends with an -n and it just seems like a mouthful. All the names I love end with an -n though so I might end up changing my mind.

We're pretty partial to more traditional sounding names for both boys and girls. For a boy we want something very rugged and manly and husband wants it to be kind of western/cowboy sounding. We like Wyatt a lot. I also love, love, love the name Nixon but that pesky n gets in the way. Middle name will be Wayne because husband, his dad, grandpa, great gpa, etc. all have that middle name.

Girls: More all over the place here. My maiden name is Harper and I've always wanted that before it became popular to use your maiden name and before Harper became popular. Now, I don't want it anymore. We're leaning toward something like Charlotte or Nora or Ruby with the middle name being Louise after my grandma.

We had my daughter's name picked out two years before I was even pregnant! This time, we have no clue for either gender, but I like to have a name picked out for each one before the ultrasound reveals which one it is, so we'll probably come up with something in the next few months.

I have an ongoing list of names I like. I really want to avoid a popular name, so I don't want to decide on a name and have it become too popular by the time I have a baby. I hope once I'm pregnant we will decide on a name earlier on in the pregnancy.
