I made sure to keep the noise level up, and when LO was a newborn she would sleep through it. But then one day she just stopped. She would wake up to every little noise! And now she's a light sleeper. So I don't buy that theory. I'd say around 1.5 to 2-years-old. Our LO is almost 3 weeks now and sleeps through it all. I think it definitely helped that they barked while I was pregnant. I will add that our house is tiny- 420 sq ft. so no matter what they are barking at- mail man by day or racoons at night, they usually they end up barking right next to her bassinet. I agree with the previous posts about keeping noise through the house, when its quiet any sound is that much louder. He sleeps right through everything since he's used to it and I can get things done while he sleeps.
