DH is part Japanese and has dark eyes and really dark hair, I'm Scandanavian with naturally blonde hair and blue eyes. I thought our first daughter might mostly look like DH, with dark hair, and I held out a tiny bit of hope she'd manage to sneak some blue eyes from me. She was born with super dark hair, looking just like her daddy, with blue eyes. As time has gone on, she looks more like me, but still has a bit of her daddy's looks too, has green eyes, more fair skin, and blondish hair. </p> <p>I thought DD2 would look similar to her big sis, and while she was born with the same coloring and very simar features, so far (at almost 1 yr) her coloring is a lot darker, her hair has stayed dark, her eyes still have a blue ring and are light brown in the center, and she looks more like DH, except her eyes are more round like mine, and DD1's are more almond shaped like DH's. I don't know if there have been any big studies done but I have at least heard that line of logic frequently. </p>
