LO lost her mind when I cut out the after daycare session. I could not bring her in the house until DH got home to run interference. She would drag the boppy out, pull on my shirt and scream. That went on for three weeks. After two weeks I dropped the morning session - no reaction. Every time we nurse now I think it'll be the last. My first LO was around the same age as T when I weaned (she was 8.5 months), and didn't even notice. No idea what my second LO will do. If T doesn't notice, I think it makes it easier than to tell him no. :heart:</p> <p>ETA: My oldest, 22 months old when I brought my youngest home, did act very interested for a while, and asked to nurse or hopped in my lap and said "feed me, mommy!" But, I think it's just because they're interested in what the baby is doing and want to still be the "baby." It's sad but funny too. I tried to nurse him this morning but he ended up getting frustrated like he has been so we made him a bottle. He hasn't nursed all day and doesnt care at all!</p> <p>I'm pretty sure I nursed for the last time this morning although I didn't know it. I told DH I wanted to try once more just so I had that real last breastfeeding moment together but he sad it'll probably just make me sad. I'm still not sure. </p> <p>Did your baby miss it? </p>
