After the check I had on Tuesday, I actually spotted and had had mild cramping, which turned into some uncomfortable contractions later that evening. A lot different from the normal "tight" feeling BH ones I had been getting. I actually got a little nervous!! Doc told me I am 1 cm dilated, 75% effaced, and that baby was head down and engaged. She also told me not to get excited because I could be like that for weeks.</p> <p>A few hours after my appointment I started having crazy contractions. They are mild, so I am assuming my normal Braxton Hicks, but I have been having them HOURS. My Braxton Hicks usually aren't this strong and/or frequent.</p> <p>Is this normal with a cervical check? </p>
