He will do things when I ask, but the element of surprise/gifts just don't' come easily to him. He's gone to every single appointment, he drives me to and from work every day, he goes and gets me whatever I need/want, and has basically taken a "whatever you want" attitude about anything baby-related. So I feel totally spoiled. He has been running to the store as needed and picking me up food that's out of the way. He gives me a foot rub almost every night, but that's been going on as long as I can remember, but I feel like he gives me better ones now ;) I don't expect anything besides for him to be as thoughtful as he usually is, anything else would be a bonus. We rarely do gifts, really only for milestone birthdays.
