My doula came and visited during the first week and helped me learn how to pump properly. My flanges were too big! I just ended up not being a big fan of our birth doula (liked her when we interviewed and hired her, but she was not very useful at the birth and was difficult to schedule the PP visits with). I think its great for us since we don't have family around. </p>
