A theme for a girl's room was inadvertently picked when I was in college, and I fell in love with Cicely Baker's flower fairies - my mom's spent the last five years making cross-stitch fairies for me. We're going woodland/fairies for a girl. TTC next year so this came up one time. I told him he can pick what he wants if its a boy even though I know already what he wants. If its a girl, I get to pick. He jokes that he doesnt like my idea for a girls room. But he is JK, because its pink and frilly. Very vintage chic. For a boy he said he wants a Dr. Suess theme. DH LOVES Dr. Suess. Which we could do for a girl too. But I just want a vintage nursey for a girl. Since we're team green I went with blue and yellow as our colour combo so I just added a large yellow border with white, green and blue polkadots in it.
