We got married about a mile and a half from our house. We went back to the house right after the ceremony just to have a little alone time, and he surprised me by carrying me over the threshold. I had a bunch of luggage and was fussing with the keys and he said "hold on! hold on!" and hoisted me up. It was more funny than romantic, but a nice little memory.
