Nope. DD1 only took Mam binkies until her posterior tongue tie was revised at 6 months, and then she took Soothies just fine. She took any bottle, but Dr. Brown was the best. DD2 took Soothies from day 1, and never ever took a bottle, even though we tried them all.

Neither of my kids liked pacifiers, and both were fine with Dr. Brown's and Ventaire bottles. I don't think they were picky.

Yes - both boys took tommee tippee without a problem. DS1 liked his wubbanubs but DS2 didn't take a pacifier.

My DD accepted Playtex nursers bottles but hated every one of the half-dozen pacifier styles we tried. She would only suck on our pinkies so we eventually taught her to suck her thumb.

So far, neither have been picky and have taken to the first things we introduced-Medela bottles and soothie pacifiers. Although I think T wants his thumb and E never did

LO 1 liked Mam bottles and Nuk pacifiers. LO 2 liked Tommee Tippee bottles and Soothie pacifiers. They lost interest in pacifiers early on when they discovered their thumbs!
