The highlight of the birds is that you can record a message, and it randomly will repeat back what you said. That's kind of fun. They like leaving messages for each other (sometimes nice, sometimes not, haha....). Supposedly with the birds, the more you hold/pet it, the more of it's sounds it will add to it's repertoire. I had two for my girls, but they never got opened at Christmas.
