I don't think she's really completely understanding. She'll lift my shirt up and say hi to baby, and pull it back down and say bye. The other day she was laying on my belly and I asked if she could feel the baby kicking and she went to get her water and poured some on my belly. Guess it's not so weird :)

Awww, that's really cute he thinks the baby is hiding.
My LO says awww cute too when she lifts up my shirt to see baby belly, i'm like well if you think that's cute just wait till she's born.

We talk about baby a lot and a lot of times she initiates the convo. For awhile she would tell people she had a baby in her tummy but now she laughs after she says it or says noooo and also realizes that papa doesn't have one in his tummy either. She's also super interested when we're out and about and see a baby. And she kinda likes to feel her kick so I've been encouraging her to let baby kick her hands once she's born, I think her feet are a safer spot than most for a toddler to aim for I'm hoping.

DS is completely obsessed with the baby and my belly!! He is constantly lifting my shirt up and rubbing my belly saying "Baby hiding?!" and then when you ask him if the baby is hiding he says "I don't see". He is always laying his head on my stomach, giving it kisses and placing his hand on it to feel movements. He gets super excited when he sees it and checking out the belly is the first thing he does when he sees me. He's constantly saying "awww cute" when he rubs it and he even tries to feed the baby/belly!! He takes his water bottle and places it into my belly button making a sucking sound! It's cute, but a little odd haha...I only hope he feels this bonded to the baby once he realize she is another little living thing and is here to stay!

Was your older LO obsessed and/or bonded with their younger sibling during your pregnancy?
