He still falls often. He already has a scar on his knee from it. I was washing it a bit ago thinking that his perfect little canvas is already ruined. :( DH just shrugs and said it will be the first of many.

My LO has been walking for the last 6 months, and he still falls regularly. He usually stumbles or trips over toys occasionally. It's normal to fall, and they just get right back up.

Oh yeah, for sure. I would get so nervous and on edge but her falls were minor enough for me to just let her learn on her own.

Some falls were worse than others and at one point he gained a black eye but overall, it is part of the learning process. Your baby will get better and more stable and falls will become a thing of the past. It is hard to watch them learn sometimes.

DS is 9 months old. He stands and walks holding on to the couch, the playpen, etc. This afternoon he was holding onto the bed, fell and hit his head against the bedrail. He didn't cry for long but it did leave a little red mark. I kept calm but now he's napping and I'm worried. I know I have many falls and bumps ahead of me. How did you do this, mamas? He'll eventually get good standing on his feet and it won't happen, right? Ugh :( I hate seeing him cry.
