Yup. There are days when she eats everything I put in front of her and then run out of food and end up giving her yogurt or fruit or something else I can get on her plate fast. :)

My 32 month old has been a bottomless pit for the last year or so. The child EATS. She generally puts away more than her brother who is 2 years older. I think she eats more than I do on a good day. I don't know what percentile she's in, but she's definitely not fat, not a dimple or roll on the kid. But she'll eat 5 bananas in a sitting if I let her. Which I don't usually, but I've seen her do it. I often hear, "I HONGRY, mommy!" at about 10:30 in the morning and when she wakes up from her afternoon nap. So she usually gets two snacks between meals, a piece of fruit, or 3, and/or a cheese stick. Then she gets to eat as much as she wants at mealtime. Oatmeal for breakfast (she's an oatmeal fiend- she threw a fit in the Wal-Mart parking lot the other day because she wanted "OATMEEEEEAAALLLL!" Not chicken mcnuggets, not candy, oatmeal), whatever paleo dish I'm eating for lunch, and then whatever meat and veggie paleo dish we're eating at supper. Sometimes she only eats one little Ikea bowl, other times, she eats 3, but on the whole, she's a big eater. But since she's eating healthy food, I don't cut her off. She's never eaten until she's thrown up or anything. She just has her daddy's super fast metabolism that burns off everything.

::raises hand:: DH calls him Hoover because he just takes it all in. 13 months and 95+ percentile in height and weight. The funny thing is he's not chubby, he's just BIG!

When he sees food he smacks his lips and points if he wants some. It's cute, but sometimes he just ate and still wants more!

@yin: Yeah, A is only in the 7th percentile...she must have a fast metabolism too.

My 2.5 year old has been a bottomless pit since he turned a year old. He has a high metabolism. Despite the constant eating, he is only 5 percentile in weight. :(

We are at 12 1/2 months, and I have to cut her off, otherwise she would never stop eating, and that's not an exaggeration. When it comes to pasta she would eat as much as me if we let her.

LO is almost 14 months and the past week or so she has been eating EVERYTHING in sight. She will eat and eat and eat, and if I try and distract her with something else, she throws a fit. Did your LO go through a phase of eating a ton? How long did it last?
