We did a bit of an incline, but honestly what helped the most was having the window open and the humidifier on. It was cold, but we bundled LO up extra and he was fine. We also only had to do it for one night after a night in the ER getting treatments since it had gotten so bad that night. Luckily, she doesn't move that much in her sleep, and we have long pillows so even if she rolls over she is still at an incline. It seemed to help keep drainage at bay from his congestion.
