But he started waking up again around 7-8 months. After that we began to cosleep and he'll STTN. </p> <p>DS2 began to STTN consistently at 5 months also with no sleep training. He can also put himself to sleep while big brother still can't do that. We are hoping it happens sooner rather than later, but DD is an escalator when it comes to night crying and already puts herself to sleep on her own at the beginning of the night. We sleep trained around 5/6 months with no real lasting or consistent change in her wake ups. He finally STTN on his own just after 1 year and never had night wakings after that. LO2 is still waking up 3-4 times per night. Blerg. But we haven't tried sleep training at all and she's 11 months. </p>
