I wasn't sure how it would go as he hasn't been up past 8 pm since he was a little little but at 20 months, he did great. But he didn't go to bed until 11. We had to wake him at 9 am as I was worried it would totally screw up the next day. He was super tired and crabby and took a 3 hr nap. Totally fine.
