She's 3.5 and very excited about the baby, so she "gets it" more at this age and wants to be involved. He was there for conception so why not. He will be 4 when the baby is born so he's a bit older and can understand some of what is going on. He went to two at the re and the first major scan. We didn't take him to the anatomy scan. He mostly just watched his tablet or our phones. She did ok, but it was a little difficult to entertain her while we were waiting and DH had to spend some time distracting her with snacks, etc. It wasn't ideal. </p> <p>She was probably a little under 2 at the time and I'm sure she didn't really get it.
