Some days they look brown and some days they are definitely hazel. I have very very dark brown eyes, so I wasn't really surprised by this. Now they look like they're brown toward the pupil all the time. The outside of the iris though changes between a dark bluish gray or the brownish gold of the center depending on the light. I think they're trying to turn brown though.
