The (minimal) decorations were solid colors, but I incorporated the theme 2 ways:</p> <p>The invitation said "come celebrate with DS's favorite things and people (you!)" and I made an envelope liner with a collage of dime-sized images of his favorite things.<br /> Also, instead of cake for the guests, we had custom sugar cookies decorated like his favorite things -- yes, even a bathtub, meatballs, and his sippy cup. It was totally random and everyone was cracking up and fighting over their favorite ones. </p> <p>I say go for it - what better way to celebrate someone than making the day all about what they love best?
